WinAMP does not ship with an infected ZLIB.DLL you ignorant fucktards!

Hope this gets fixed tomorrow!

I got the same problem. AVG didn't detect this problem the last time I ran Winamp, only after updating AVG today did this suddenly get identified as Trojan horse SHeur.CLZE!

Add an exception to your Winamp's directory:

Tools->Advanced Settings->Resident Shield->Exceptions

Add Path

C:\Program Files\Winamp (or wherever you installed it)

Bye

The update this morning fixes the problem. Not that I didn't have issues with getting AVG updated either, it was just sitting and very slowly updating. I shutdown and restarted, and it wasn't an issue.

But I know I set an option somewhere to ignore the Potentially Unwanted Programs, and they still get hit. I've got a directory that I told it to just ignore, and that works, but sheesh!

And turning off the link scanner and the Web Shield, even though I've told it to ignore me shutting those off , it still wants me to turn it on.

Subscription ends this December. I don't think I'll be renewing. I'm hearing good things about Avast and NOD32. I may be throwing my money at those.
