Cats aren't stupid  

This morning I was awoken to the sound of a cat scratching on the Persian rug in the hallway outside my bedroom.

A cat, Grizelle, was there, and she had managed to get the container of catnip open and had spread a bunch of it on the rug and was enjoying it. I put the catnip up, but the other cats have been enjoying what she spread out.
