A short update on Sparx
Sparx IMed me today.
According to the investigation, his vehicle was hit with 5 ERPs (Explosively Formed Projectile), basically steel tubes filled with whatever explosive that can be found capped with copper, so that the copper melts and burns through armor.
Lovely!
His Kevlar protected him from some shrapnel. It almost got him in his ear evidently.
