5 years ago today  

Yes, I flew on 9/11/2001, even if it was 1AM when I arrived. And despite The_Roses wishes that I just wait for the next day to fly in.

I was awaken by Mike DeJulio who was checking up on me to make sure that I had made it home. I watched CNN, and called Chuck Walton, informing him of what was going on and made him the first one in his office to know what had happened.

I remember what happened.

Do I feel any safer now today that 5 years ago? Nope.

But nothing blew up today either.
