Feline update  

For Garfield and Sparx.

Yesterday afternoon, I heard a cat hollering in the house. Loupe was already with me, Harry was in the kitchen, Greybeard was on the back of the couch, and finding Kitto and Kali sleeping on my bed, that left either Grizelle or an unknown cat in the house, and I couldn't find it. I didn't think it was Grizelle, because it didn't sound like here, but it did sound like a cat in distress. I found Grizelle in Hattrick's room, hollering at me again. Again, it sounded like she was in distress, but there didn't seem to be anything wrong. She acted like she was trying to get under some books on the floor, and when I picked them up, I found a salamander (I think) under it, and she promptly chased after it. I left her to chase it. Obviously, she had been hollering for help to try to get to the lizard.

Loupe has really been wanting to soak up some loving, which means Harry gets a little jealous. She gets right up on me, while Harry cannot stand to be picked up, even though he does enjoy it from all the purring that he does at least when I do it.

My computer has been crashing lately, getting blue screened. It appears to be a problem with the sound driver, but it's now apparent that Loupe is sleeping on the keyboard, and the system can't handle all those keypresses. This morning, the computer wouldn't even boot, complaining about the partition. I went into the BIOS to check first, and sure enough, the setting for first boot drive was off the DVD drive I had it set to was now pointing to my second hard drive, which is definitely not bootable. That was a quick fix, not a major oops.
