The New York Times > International > Middle East > Protecting Troops: Along With Prayers, Families Send Armor

As a parent with two sons in the Army, this is scary. Very scary.

One is scheduled for deployment in Afghanistan this March (it could be worse I guess, it could be Iraq!), and the other one is in boot right now.
