Electrifying!
When The_Rose came home from the hospital, when I was looking at her dressing, I noticed that I was feeling an electric feeling when I rubbed her stomach around the incision, this with my feet on the ground. I thought that it was weird, and in fact about two weeks ago, I had checked it out with my fingers again. No shock! OK.
Then, this morning, The_Rose is rubbing my belly, and she says she's feeling an electric shock. And that it almost hurts. Hmmm. We talked about it a little bit after each of us using the bathroom facilities, and she lays back down in the bed, and I rub her belly again, sure enough, I feel the shock again. And it's also feeling a little stronger than it was before! I unplug the water bed heater, and try it again. No shock. Plug it in, get shocked touching The_Rose again. So now we've it unplugged for good.
Time to empty the bed, paint the room (while we can move the bed!), replace the heater and refill the bed.
